“Raising $1200 so our dad Steve Delamar can record and mix an EP for
his 64th birthday. He just had a heart attack, so have a heart!

Dad and I have been working on a project over the past 6 months.
Recording a batch of his back catalog. One formula he taught me is to
write 100 songs and record your 10 best. In this case we've gone through
about 60 of his compositions and picked 4-6 songs that would sound great if
they were recorded professionally. Since I can do about 60% of the work
myself, the $1200 would go toward recording some live drums, guitar and
vocals and then mixing and mastering. We hope in the end this will afford
us the ability to release an EP of Dad's work. And that's about that.

Give me your answer, fill in a form, mine for evermore.
Will you still need me, will you still feed me, When I'm sixty-four?

Steve Delamar was born in the land of none other than George, Paul, John
and Ringo. Liverpool, England. After immigrating to Canada as a child,
he quickly picked up music as his primary medium and hit the road in
search of that all elusive goal: world musical domination. He got a little
sidetracked with a wife and kids and never really got a chance to get his
songs properly off the ground. But it's never too late.

We are his kids and we would like to make that happen for him in time
for his 64 birthday.

Send me a postcard, drop me a line, stating point of view.
Indicate precisely what you mean to say.
Yours sincerely, Wasting Away.” - Joe Delamar

Steve Delamar is a friend of the family and is recovering from a recent
