“For entertainment, I have found that most people whose mother tongue is French simply don’t get my alter-ego Yves Trough’s English sense of humour. I created Yves Trough many years ago and since he doesn’t exist, no one can call him at 2:00AM to complain about what he does. Yves regularly posts his ‘creations’ on the local newsgroups where he has been driving them nuts for over 18 to 25 years as I waged my own mini-war against New Brunswick’s official bilingualism. Depending on how annoyed I, oops, I mean how annoyed Yves is by local news stories on a given day... I’ve, ooops, I mean Yves has been known to manipulate a photo and post it locally and since his ‘stuff’ IS an actual photo, it MUST be the truth in their gullible little pea-brains. Yves posted this attachment this morning and the locals went ballistic. Poor Yves was informed by about 75 French people that... he is NOT allowed to change portable city signs from his smart phone while driving around town.” - Emery Pettigrove
